Master on Bioinformatics UAB
During the academic course 2015-2016 the genomics subject of the master in Bioinformatics offered by Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) was given using RStudio on Biocloud. This allowed the professors and students to use real data during the lessons and practices at home.
Master in Omics Data Analysis 2015-2016
The Master Degree in Omics Data Analysis from University of Vic is a master focused on the analysis of most modern types of biological data, especially from Hight Throughput Techniques. Students have the opportunity to learn and practice with real data, which is very difficult to do on laptops due to the high computational power required for analysing real data from HTS. The implementation of Biocloud platform for the 2015-2016 edition solved most of the problems and considerably improved the quality of the classes and students' experience.
International Workshop in Higher Education
The Biomedical Data Integration and Modelling in Translational Research workshop, within the International Workshop in Higher Education program, hosted in the University of Vic at June 2015, was the first course taught with the Biocloud platform.
